Kings Peninsula is a theme park in Loxahatchee, Florida owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and
included with admission to Soak City.
The park opened in 1974 as Kings Peninsula & Lion Country Safari which was renamed to Paramount’s Kings Peninsula from 1993 to 2006 until Cedar Fair restored the original name.
Around 1974, after the success of Kings Island and Kings Dominion, Taft Broadcasting decided to purchase the Lion Country Safari location in Loxahatchee, Florida and open a third park called Kings Peninsula that was included with admission. In 1984, Taft sold the park to Kings Entertainment along with all sister parks. In 1992, Paramount Parks bought out KECO and sold Lion Country Safari for ownership under new management when the park was renamed to "Paramount's Kings Peninsula". After Paramount Parks shut down in 2006, Cedar Fair bought out the company and restored the park's original name.

Incidents[]
Valor[]
Originally for the 2016 season, a Premier Sky Loop II coaster named Valor was supposed to open. However, during a human test run in early 2016, the train ended up crashing due to the block brakes malfunctioning. 1 person was killed and 5 others were severely injured. Due to this incident, the ride was rebuilt, and finally opened in 2017.
